How do I contact Farr Auto Parts?
There are many ways to get in touch with us. Use our live chat service in the left sidebar, send a message via our contact form, send us an email, call us toll-free at 1-877-FARRAUT or locally at 305-591-7266. You can also send us a fax at 305-463-7265.

What if I can't find the part I need?
If you're unable to find the right part by searching our parts catalog, feel free to use our live help feature to the left or send us a message. Please include the year, model, make, and VIN of your vehicle. Our specialists will use this information to help you find the right auto part. Please note that we cannot sell theft-relevant parts (TRP) like keys, some engine control modules, and some transmission modules. Your make and model may differ from others, so feel free to contact us with your needs.

Can I order parts for models not sold in the US? How about European headlights and taillights? How about gray-market vehicles?
Due to US Department of Transportation regulations, some parts are blocked from sale in the US. We might be able to supply ECE and will not be supplied to us by their manufacturers. We can order other genuine European parts from Germany. They reach our warehouse in 2-3 weeks, and we ship them out.

Why do I need to provide my VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)?
Please have your VIN ready when you contact us. The VIN provides important details about the specific model of your vehicle, and it will help us determine exactly which part you need.

Does Farr Auto Parts sell used or rebuilt parts?
We carry new genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts for Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Saab, Volkswagen, and Volvo vehicles, as well as some rebuilt parts. We do not carry any used parts.

What is a rebuilt part?
A rebuilt part has stripped of degraded components and reconditioned to work in your vehicle according to OEM standards. Our high-quality rebuilt parts cost less than new parts, and many can be considered as good as new. If a part is rebuilt, the part description will clearly specify. Rebuilt parts are covered under our normal one-year warranty on non-wear-and-tear components.

Does Farr Auto Parts carry parts not listed on this site?
Almost all parts are listed on our site, but since manufacturers sometimes change what they produce, some parts may be in the process of going online. If you're looking for something brand-new and don't see it on our site, feel free to contact us.

Will Farr Auto Parts take my old parts for salvage or recycling?
Since we sell mostly new genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts, we recommend that you take your old parts to a local salvage yard or appropriate recycling facility.

Which side is the left/right side of my vehicle?
We label our parts "left" or "right" as if you're seated in the vehicle, facing forward. Since many of the vehicles we service are available internationally, "left" and "right" are more specific than "driver's side" and "passenger's side".

What does it mean that some parts/brands are "OEM"?
OEM stands for "original equipment manufacturer". OEM parts are similar or identical to those supplied to the automaker for the original assembly of your vehicle. Farr Auto Parts offers genuine parts (exact replacement), OEM parts, and specialty aftermarket  parts (built by a third party for performance or affordability).
